Web Development
Web development is a broad term for any activity related to developing a web site. What we call web development as to using the term web design is e-commerce development, web content development, database creation, client-side and server-side scripting and web server configuration.
In other words "web development" refers to the non-design aspects of building web sites. The web sites we develop can range from developing a simple static page for information purposes to complex web-based internet applications or electronic businesses.
For larger projects we form web development teams with freelance developers that can consist of a dozen web developers or more. For smaller projects a single developer works on the job from start to finish.
